- Spouses can easily stay in touch if they get separated in a large store or large gathering.

- They both were very difficult to learn, but I believe the challenge to my brain was beneficial. They have tremendously opened the world for me to bigger and better things.

- My computer enables me to have a "work at home" business.

- I love my laptop.

- I taught a computer class and still help a lot of my friends with their computer issues.

- Can send day brighteners and jokes to my friends

- can do many things from home, sitting at my computer and it saves gas.

- use my computer to write stories

-ususally calm myself with a couple of games of Spider Solitaire each night before I shut it down each evening..


25. What advice would you give to your favorite young person?

- Be who you are and say what you feel because those that matter don't mind and those that mind, don't matter - l

- Too much traffic from fast growth of surrounding areas - ll ll l - 5

- Need for Public transportation - ll ll l - 5

- Need overpasses over 99th , 103rd, and 107th. Otherwise, when they widen Grand Ave., it will isolate many residents. - l

- Rising crime - ll ll l - 5

- Concerns about water supply and lack of serious water conversation. (Lets not wait until we're in the same boat as Atlanta, GA) - ll ll


- Houses need to be renovated and updated - ll

- Lack of grocery stores and convenient stores within walking distance - ll

- The rising cost of living - l

- Golf carts on public roads - l

- Too many unoccupied houses not being looked after and cared for (resulting in citrus laying around that attracts rats as well as an invitation to break-ins) - l

- Rec centers need to be renovated and updated, especially the pool at Sun Dial - ll

- Rec centers doing too much renovating - l

- A few people have too much power (The SCRC Board of Directors) - l

- The shortage of capable and willing volunteers - l

- The changing demographics - l

- People who feed the birds - l

- People who complain - l

- Rec centers should be open 24 hours a day - l

- Bell Center is too crowded - l

- Should be able to use the golf courses for walking trails and bike paths in the evening hours - l

- Need for better updated craft stores - l

- Shouldn't allow the use of non-native grasses and plants in our desert area that require more water. Should use grey water (water from laundry/ shower water) for watering trees and plants.

- Our "Old Sun City" is no more - 1

- Keeping up with the needs of the new baby boomers as they arrive - l

- some underage people seem to be living in SC - 1
